This standard system detects people or objects behind the vehicle and automatically applies the brakes if a collision seems imminent. The system also incorporates a warning feature with different alarm patterns depending on how far the Legacy GT is away from the person or object.

The 2024 Legacy GT offers a quiet, comfortable and luxurious cabin. The seat designs have been engineered for improved ergonomics to support better posture and to reduce fatigue. The Legacy GT trim features a 12-way power-adjustable driver’s seat with 4-way power lumbar support, seat cushion length adjustment and two-position memory function for the driver. It also has an 8-way power-adjustable seat for the front passenger as standard equipment. The cabin features added sound-deadening material, higher-quality finishes and standard amenities including a wireless phone charger, centre console rear vents and a full-circle heated steering wheel. Other desirable but usually optional features such as Nappa leather seats, multipurpose seatback pockets on both front seats and heated rear seats come standard.

Another advanced safety feature that’s standard on the Legacy GT, the SRVD  has three distinct functions: Blind Spot Detection, Lane Change Assist and Rear Cross Traffic Alert. Blind Spot Detection identifies vehicles behind the C-pillars and in other blind spots, while Lane Change Assist detects vehicles from behind approaching quickly in an adjacent lane. Using a sensor in the back of the vehicle, Rear Cross Traffic Alert signals drivers of approaching vehicles while reversing, such as out of a parking space or driveway.
