SUBARU BOXER^® engine

The Subaru WRX features a turbocharged, direct-injection 2.4L
4-cylinder SUBAR BOXER^® that balances potent performance with optimal fuel efficiency. The twin-scroll turbocharger sees peak torque arrive at 2,000 rpm and creates a long, flat torque curve for a crisp response and a striking driveability, making everyday driving much more exciting.

Rearview Camera

Being able to see what is behind the vehicle is very practical, but above all very safe. The standard rearview camera captures a crisp image of what’s behind the car and displays it on the center console screen. The camera position is more centered to offer the widest possible viewing angle, and its lens is protected by a hydrophilic membrane to ensure a more natural and distortion-free image.

Multi-mode Vehicle Dynamics Control (VDC)

The WRX features multi-mode VDC, a sophisticated stability control system with three driver-selectable settings: normal mode, track mode and off. This system uses multiple sensors to predict when a loss of traction is likely to occur, giving the driver increased control over the situation and increased confidence in all driving conditions, from the everyday commute to the closed circuit.
